Khi chúng ta tiếp nhận Đức Chúa Jêsus Christ làm Cứu Chúa, chúng ta bắt đầu một cuộc đời mới! Trong Ê-phê-sô 4:21-24 “Vì anh em đã nghe đạo Ngài, và được dạy dỗ trong Ngài rằng phải bỏ cách ăn nết ở ngày trước, thoát lốt người cũ là người bị hư hỏng bởi tư dục dỗ dành, mà phải làm nên mới trong tâm trí mình, và mặc lấy người mới, tức là người được dựng nên giống như Đức Chúa Trời, trong sự công bình và sự thánh sạch của lẽ thật.” Và II Cô-rinh-tô 5:17 “Vậy, nếu ai ở trong Đấng Christ, thì nấy là người dựng nên mới; những sự cũ đã qua đi, này mọi sự đều trở nên mới.”

Cuộc đời mới được ban cho chúng ta qua sự phục sinh của Chúa Jêsus. Trong Rô-ma 6:5 “Vì nếu chúng ta làm một cùng Ngài bởi sự chết giống như sự chết của Ngài, thì chúng ta cũng sẽ làm một cùng Ngài bởi sự sống lại giống nhau.”

Cuộc đời mới mang đến sự tự do, thoát khỏi xiềng xích của tội lỗi. Cô-lô-se 2:13-14 ghi lại: “Khi anh em đã chết bởi tội lỗi mình và sự xác thịt mình không chịu cắt bì, thì Đức Chúa Trời đã khiến anh em sống lại với Đấng Christ, vì đã tha thứ hết mọi tội chúng ta. Ngài đã xoá tờ khế lập nghịch cùng chúng ta, các điều khoản trái với chúng ta nữa, cùng phá hủy tờ khế đó mà đóng đinh trên cây thập tự”

New Life

When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we start a new life! It's in the Bible, Ephesians 4:21-24, TLB. "If you have really heard His voice and learned from Him the truths concerning himself, then throw off your old evil nature—the old you that was a partner in your evil ways—rotten through and through, full of lust and shame. Now your attitudes and thoughts must all be constantly changing for the better. Yes, you must be a new and different person, holy and good. Clothe yourself with this new nature." II Corinthians 5:17, NIV says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

New life is provided through Jesus' resurrection. It's in the Bible, Romans 6:5, TLB. "For you have become a part of Him, and so you died with Him, so to speak, when He died; and now you share His new life, and shall rise as He did."

New life brings freedom from the bondage of sin. It's in the Bible, Colossians 2:13-14, TLB. "You were dead in sins, and your sinful desires were not yet cut away. Then He gave you a share in the very life of Christ, for He forgave all your sins, and blotted out the charges proved against you, the list of His commandments, which you had not obeyed. He took this list of sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ's cross."
